Bunker Surcharge (BAF) 2013

Please note that Polish Baltic Shipping- Polferries has decided that fuel cost will be covered in much greater part by the ship operator in 2013 and BAF valid from the 5th February 2013 till further notice will be charged according to the present amount:

Adjustment for BAF from 5th February 2013:

The BAF is calculated upon monthly average daily USD barrel price for Brent Crude oil quoted by Intercontinental Exchange in London and converted for rates per units on respective lines and fluctuation in US Dollar rate of exchange and Scandinavian currencies. However, Polish Baltic Shipping - Polferries has decided that fuel cost will be covered in much greater part by the ship operator.
According to Marpol Annex VI, low sulphur oil has been used since the 1st July 2010. Consequently, low sulphur surcharge is included in the BAF.
The BAF is valid from the 5th February 2013 till further notice.
